I am hoping someone can help with a mod idea. On our board we run contests like NCAA pick'ems, football pools etc. What we would like to do is have contestants bet a certain number of rep points to enter the contest and then if they win gain a certain number of rep points.

Currently when you click on the icon to give (or subtract) rep points in the postbit you have the option to either approve or disapprove of the post and leave comments. I would like to see if we can add a numeric field box where the staff members alter the rep by a custom amount rather than the default rep power. Having it available to certain usergroups within the usergroup manager would be most ideal

Doing it this way rather than editing their profile options it a) gives the ability to keep track of which contests they won the points from b) prevents the loss of the points if "Rebuild reputation" is ever needed or accidentally run.
