Yes - There are unfortunately a lot of coders who have been releasing some quite sloppy mods as far as templates are concerned. I know this has been the issue for numerous other people with this style. I can only guarantee that it works on a fresh, unmodded installation of vBulletin, so if you have mods running, you're kind of on your own in a sense.
