I was wondering if anyone knows of a good recommendation system incorporating a bit of artificial intelligence (or at least rules).

For example, a user answers a few questions and fills in some check boxes for their interests. After clicking submit, a full set of recommendations is listed for the user. The moderators or admins are responsible for inputting the logic, and based on the user's answers it provides different information.

Please let me know if you have ever heard of such an animal.
