I needed a portation of the
vBrecycle hack. On 16. Nov 2006 at 13:12 I received a PM from
The Coldwood offering me his services for a fee of 100USD, 50% upfront and 50% on deliver (upfront payment was paid through PayPal).
On 24. Nov 2006 at 15:56 the work was requested, and it would be delivered within 1 week starting on Nov 25th.
After one week, Kyle Korleski aka The Coldwood, asked an extension of 3-4 days.
Then, a week passed and my PMs weren't getting any replies. After a few PMs, this person agreed to deliver the final product on December 31th.
Until yesterday, and my request for a refund, Kyle Korleski aka The Coldwood, stated that a refund was not possible, here is the PM.
Quote:
Sir, since my company is provincially subsidized by the Gouvernment du Quebec, I am going to need you to fill out a government form stating why you want the refund. We will then process your refund within 72 hours of your request.

Note that the payment was delivered to the email
kyle@rexanni.com, his personal email and not a company. And since the first contact, the job was going to be made by him, he never stated a company doing my request, i never asked for a company to work on my little hack port.
I am a customer of Jelsoft since while ago, and member of vb.org since October 14th 2002, im not a noob in this board, I have made planty of business with respected coders in this board and many others. I dont care about those 50USD, because I can live without them, but this person seems to be really poor and needs them.
A paypal Dispute was open, I am going to wait what happens. If not, I have a bussiness trip to Miami in March, I would be glad to go a few days to Quebec and start legal actions agains Kyle Korleski. I dont know much about Canadian laws, so, if anyone can guide me or knows if a foreigner can start a legal dispute with a canadian resident, let me know.
Thank you all,
Jack
