Ok, I just installed this, but for the purposes I need and without reading over 10+ pages... please give me the break down.

Is there a way to take the Column Header box off of that left side altogether. I run a forum for college football discussion and want to just use this space for the 11 different banners of the major conferences. No more no less, thats the only thing I want this space for.

Also, I have a shoutbox that extends all the way to the left, BUT, the "Whats Going On" Category at the bottom does not. Is there a way to stretch this so it kinda cloes the top and bottom of that left side gap.
