While I agree with the statement above that it's hard for vB.org to takes sides between two party's because they have no proof either way of who's right and wrong.
I think that alone says maybe vB.org should not be allowing a paid service on this site to avoid any further legal issues and go back to free hacks only. Because it's quite obvious members are not happy with the fact coders can come and offer a paid service with the intentions of ripping people off. Knowing that vB.org are going to stay neutral as in this case. I just can't see how you can allow this service to take place and then expect to not be dragged into things. Like in this case were this ExtremeTim guy is still allowed to come here while members want him banned to try and avoid him ripping anybody else off.
This thread case is a perfect example of why vB.org should bin the paid service idea and tell coders to use there own sites now to offer a paid service. And not allow them to punt for business here also! Maybe just allow them to use a signature link to there site.
All thats happening now is, people are getting ripped off and them coming back here complaining because this is the place they acquired the service from in the first place. So they want vB.org to get involved because they see it as they already are. It's doing nothing for this site but causing resentment towards it, due to lack of action being taken. And thats not good for this site.
