But maybe I will change the installcode to add the button (chooseable option if possible) if you all want to have the editorbutton.
But keep in mind: it's christmastime and all is terror (or something )
So I don't think it'll be added this year ...

As I told bigM in german, please check that you have showing up "[hide]some text[/hide]" in your "own vB Codes" overview listed as replacement code.
If, it has to work (or it's been overruled by an other hack).
Or: your php or sql was updated or something...
as I said, I have no idea until I'll find a way to reproduce this error in my testboard; sorry.
Let me know about all changes you made just before the error occured, to give me some hint, please.

I don't get it, sorry...
So you disabled this hacks ajax functionality, okay.
After that you have to refresh the page with the hidden content ONCE to unload the ajax-javascript so that it is disabled.
Now posts will not be refreshed by the hack itself.
you can check the page's sourcecode for this line:

unhide.onreadystatechange = ausgeben;

if you find it, javascript is still enabled (and hack still tries to reload the page content) if not, the hacks ajax is fully disabled.
Now, your page is still refreshed after clicking the thanks button?
Yes, that's because of the javascript of the post_thank_you hack. But it only should refresh the content of the Post-thanks-bit (right after the thanked postbit) and nothing else.
If you have problems with the post_thanks hack (i can't think of that but maybe you know better) go and ask Abe1 in the thread you find linked in firstpost.
And yes, if you disable the hide-hacks ajax you'll have to refresh the page manually to see hidden content, what else? No Ajax no automatic refresh...
with ajax you don't need to refresh manually because the hack will do so.
