While editing permissions for my moderators, I accidentally deleted their memberships. Is there any way of reversing that error?

If there isn't is there any way of merging their previous posts with a new "account" so that the old posts now contain their avatars and signature lines?

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!
