Thought I'd share some of what we're doing on this front. We currently have several developers working full-time on a guild/clan management framework that is part of a larger effort to create a social network for online gamers.

Some of the features we've already completed include:

- Player profile/game histories
- Real-time Integration with game products
- Guild/clan messaging/news/etc.
- Scheduling/logistics
- Other stuff too cool to be posted about publicly at this time.

Although the initial design is based on users organizing through our site, we're now working on ways to "push" our content and applications outward--i.e., people with existing vBulletin sites able to use things like DKP management, tournament management, schedulers, and widget-based interfaces to player profiles and such.

We'd like to hear from people that run a guild or clan on vBulletin so that we can nail down EXACTLY what you want from us. If you are interested in acting as a tester, or merely interested in providing guidance on product direction--please contact me through a PM.
