I want to have a box in the options field below the quickreply form. It would be just like "Quote message in reply?" but instead it will say "Merge with last post?" and will be checked off by default. When a user then posts 2 messages - one right after the other - the two posts will be merged into one. In the rare instances that merging isn't desirable, the user can uncheck the box. I know that I should just tell people to edit their posts.. but no one wants to do things the right way for some reason so they double-post.

So, anyone want to give this a shot? There's already an auto-merge hack out there.. maybe this could be made as a mod of that?
