Yes, you will get that when it's first installed, until someone uses the chat, as until that point the mod has had nothing to count.

There are 49 members names showing in the list including my invisible one, so obviously the 53 is wrong?

There is only one hidden member and that is me. I just had a thought about this, could the missing 4 be people who registered today?

Actually that is correct, it is to do with users timezones. I explained it the 3.5 thread as below ;

This happens when you are running in the users/posters since midnight mode - because one or more of your users is in a different timezone (x hours ahead of you) so they have already reached 74 visitors/posters since *their* midnight - hence the total gets updated. Because you are x hours behind them, you haven't reached (caught up) to the 74 yet.

Obviously it doesn't affect the last 24 hour mode, as everyone sees the same total all the time.

Obviously in this case your figure is 53, not 74.
