Just because someone has a title of advanced coder, doesn't mean that things are fairly easy to them - or answers are that way. It just means that they have met a set of criteria for receiving that title. I've released a couple of hacks and got a "coder" or "designer" title (not sure which - doesn't matter - don't really care) - what DOES matter is that I am learning and am trying to help out the community. What I do care about is the community and my desire to work on things to help out. I am working on 4-5 hacks right now in my spare time for people that have asked for certain things and because there are hacks that I am using or have tried out that don't quite fit the need of me and others and others want something more. I want to give back and hopefully get someone to build on the work I've done. Some of the last few hacks I've put out I've come up with in about an hour's time (if you don't count distractions such as phone calls :P) Other hacks it took me several weeks to put together and one hack I'm still working on eleven months later (I had to start over since my work was destroyed after my sited was defaced and I failed to back it up before moving it to the new site

)
In regards to the initial statement of not giving help, I personally try to help people when I feel I can. If I read a thread and feel I can help a person, I will post a response - but I don't want to just post a reply and mislead a person causing them more grief than when they initially posted. What's easy for one person may not be so easy for another. Some people are naturally gifted - others may learn for months or even years (like me :P). But once I learn, If I know something I'm willing to help.
