I dont know if something like this has been created. Basically check out this page first:

See how the new diggs/comments whatever shows up?

Wouldnt it be cool if you had a similar page for vBulletin, that showed the new posts like that?

It would be particularly handy for large forums (although intensive), so that users can track new posts as they happen.

What do you think??
