The event attendance sort of does this (it adds its own option), so I may be able to add a few of the options in by looking at that, but i'd like to find a better way so it shows all the same stuff as a post. The other option, is to change when you add an event, instead to take you to a new thread screen, and put the date controls there. That might work, but either way its a bit complicated
