First register your new domain name at a registar such as GoDaddy or NameCheap etc.

Then assign the new domain the name servers from your hosting company. To reduce any downtime, give it 3 days before you do any thing further to allow for DNS propagation.

Then move everything from your old sites folders into your new sites folders using the same exact directory structure. Then you'll probably need to upload the tools.php file into your admincp directory, change the URL settings and cookie settings, then remove the tools.php

then use a 301 redirect to redirect all people visiting sats-general.com to the new url
