It happens on showthread I assume?
If so, then it would be cause that it's trying to cache the RPG stats of every single user.
You can counter this by running the RPG User Cache maintenance function.

If that's not the cause, then I don't know what's wrong, since I have seen it installed on quite a few large boards.
