Hey all. I am new to designing vBulletin skins from scratch, though I am not new to coding as a whole. I have extensive experience in C#, VB, and ASP. I have never got into PHP, XML, etc., because my current job does not ask for it.

Anyways, I really want to expand my knowledge and start coding VB skins for fun for this community. I was hoping you guys would help me out by recommending any books to get me started with covering the basics in the coding languages I will need to design these skins. I would prefer you only recommend books that you yourself have had personal experience with or books that you have been told to read because they are "that incredible."
