The titles we have are MUCH better than the post counts that were previously used. But, for what it's worth, I pay very little attention to them because I've seen the garbage some people release just to earn a title. (I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT ANYBODY IN THIS THREAD. DO NOT LYNCH ME )

I think the best thing to do in a community like this is:
a) Share your work
b) Fill a request or two from time to time

I don't notice people for their titles. I notice them for their work and their ability to answer questions with intelligent clarity. I couldn't begin to tell you what title Andreas or Zero Tolerance have, but I know I respect the hell out of the work they do. And, no matter what title some people have under their name, I know that they are unoriginal hacks.
