I would also opt for custom images for the navbits_start & navbits_finallink so that it looks consistent with regards to the amoun of customization that's been done to the style.

thanks for the feedback I think I just got lazy with the header and forgot since then. you have a keen eye! thanks!

however, I must admit, I don't know what the navbits_start & navbits_finallink are or do... so not sure how to update those. lol. are those part of the areas you marked in your screenshot image? I renamed the images to see what "broke"...and it looked the same.
