Hi 5IVEO.
I just went through the biggest nightmare with our old hosting, and I went looking for a new one.
I went over to
WebHostingTalk.com and read what people in the hosting industry had too say about the fellow web hosting peers.
I found a company that almost every hosting company over there had gushing reviews about KnowHost.com
Here see for yourself.

We signed up for a semi-managed VPS (Virtual Private Server) XL package and I could not be happier with them.
Here are their VPS packages.

For people that aren't familar with VPS accounts, it's pretty much the way it sounds as they partition off a section of the server for you and you alone. No more sharing your resources with illegal music & files as well as all the other script kiddie nonsense that goes on with most shared hosting.
With VPS you get root access to the server and usually a nice array of control panels that you can pick and choose from.
You can read a better explanation about VPS here.

But I love VPS as you get most of the benefits of a dedicated server without the dedicated price or headache.
the concept of VPS has been around for awhile but it's only been recently that the technology has been able to make it a true choice.
I know a lot of people discovering VPS are getting a medium (medium on a VPS is about 20 Gigs of disk space, with 250 Gigs of bandwidth) package, putting their site on it, repartioning the extra space and reselling it and basically paying for their site and extra money. I haven't done that myself, but who knows maybe in the future.
