Ted - been using this mod for a long time now and it certainly has made a difference to posting and registration rates - thanks.

We approve all new accounts and new members see the "Welcome new posters! " message inviting them to post after they have validated their email address and activated their account but before we have approved their account. This generates an occasional "You say to post but when I try to the system says I can't" emails - have you considered adding a separate welcome-header message for "users awaiting moderation"?
