Had problems with this hack for 3.6

the problem was with $db->connect the variables are out of order.
the replace the $db-connect with the following:

$config['Database']['dbname'],
$config['MasterServer']['servername'],
$config['MasterServer']['usepconnect'],
$config['MasterServer']['username'],
$config['MasterServer']['password'],
$config['SlaveServer']['servername'],
$config['SlaveServer']['usepconnect'],
$config['SlaveServer']['username'],
$config['SlaveServer']['password'],
$config['Mysqli']['ini_file']
);
