It could well be something in your headinclude template.. trying to call a different page.

It would help if you posted the *actual* error, unless it really does say http://'blahblahblah'... with the apostrophes and everything.

Have you made any changes to your vB recently?

(btw: forumdisplay.php is the page you should expect to be visiting when clicking a link to display a forum.)
