I know it's the wrong place for my question, but I didn't find a more appropriate section.

My question is:

There is a hack on this forum (and I think it's installed here also).

When I track a topic, or post a reply in it, the topics starter can change information in the first message.
To notify all subscribed members about an update; he can use a "send update" option.

Then all the subscribed members get an e-mail like
