it's very complex to do depending on the level of corruption of your database. If those tables are still intact, then it is possible, but it is also possible that they could be corrupted, in which case you can rebuild the records by hand (very tedious and time consuming) or write it off (heart breaking).

Depending on how corrupted your database is, and if you have a recent-ish backup to fill in the gaps, then you may be able to salvage most of it, but I will warn you that even for a relatively small site, this does take quite a long time to do.
