vb.org Archive - View Single Post - remote file uploading is disabled

When a user uploads an avatar from him computer, it works without a hitch; but when he tries to upload one via the web or a website, he gets the following error:

remote file uploading is disabled

I looked through usergroup permissions and the whols ACP and couldn't find where to enable this setting (now there are so many settings in the ACP I don't doubt if I overlooked it during my scanning).

I searched the forums first to try and find an answer for this but couldn't find anything.

Any and all help is appreciated.
