I was having the same problem, yes all my usergroups were able to purchase vbplaza stuff. How I solve it? Please read again the above post:

have you made sure the permissions are granted in each usergroup?(OK) Through the usergroup manager, and also in the VBplaza > manage categories tab, then go to each heading and make sure the users are checked off(CHECK AGAIN)
