There is a pretty simple infobar for guests hack over here: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=97150

I like this concept, not as a tool for getting gusts in - but as a reminder for up coming events. On my site we have a weekly chat session, at the designated chat time I edit my header template to enable the info bar code from the above hack to tell users that the chat session is on and by clicking the infobar, they will be taken there.

Would it be possible to make an admincp module for this to easily turn the infobar on and off and also change the message and URL ? A could more advanced features may be to perhaps keep a history of previous message/url pairs - perhaps also to set a time for it to automagically turn on and how long to remain on for (so I don;t forget)?
