I agree about getting rid of the blinking header. I like it, but it would be better if it was steady. Too much flashing images can be dangerous for people with some medical conditions.

I'd move the shoutbox to the bottom of your forums, when they are at the top they take away from the forums activity in the form of posts.

A very interesting navigation menu. It's unique and apart from a couple of gaps where they are obviously members only links, it's a nice idea.
