Does anyone have and example code that would be used for this?

Rather than have one of my sub-forums take up the space at the top of the parent forum, I would like to make it a thread title link as a sticky thread.

I can eliminate a particular sub-forum from showing at the top of the parent forum by making the sub-forum inactive. Then use the sub-forums URL to access it. I would rather have a sticky thread titled as the name of the sub-forum and when the thread is clicked it links to that sub-forum URL.

Or is there a better solution to what I want to accomplish?
