I'm putting together a website using vbulletin, the CMPS, GARs and Photopost Pro. I am using GARs to manage the articles on my website, and I came across a modification made for GARs which caught my interest:

basically it adds random featured images from your vbgallery into your article. Someone in the thread suggests adding image ID's so that the images displayed are only those pertaining to the article itself. this gave me an idea for a modification that would be helpful to my site.

I believe that mod was made for vbGallery and not photopost...but basically what I am looking to be made is a Module for GARs that would appear in the right column of the article. It would display one random image from a specified category (specified ID# of the photopost category by the article poster when posting a new article...the GARs custom fields option could be used to specify the ID # I think...), and then underneath the 1 random image it would have a link saying "view more images", which of course would be a direct link to the photopost category itself.

Gamespy.com gaming articles is a good example of what I mean.

If you look at the right column, it has Game Media, and lists 1 screenshot from the game, and then underneath it has the link to view more images from the game.

Not sure how difficult this would be, but I think I've explained the idea well enough. I know a little bit of PHP so I will attempt to do what I can, but any help with this project is much appreciated as I'm sure there are plenty of you here that know a lot more then I do.
