Perhaps i'm blind today .. i can't find this option in the "vBulletin Options". What category is it under? You'd think it would be under "Message Posting and Edit Options"... i guess not.

I figured it out.. users had outdated/corrupted...

I figured it out.. users had outdated/corrupted versions of MS Java VM on various browser platforms. A quick search found an upgrade which worked... if anyone is having the same problem run a google...
