We reinstalled, etc.... but the plugin did not work; so we disabled.

It's a shame, as our users liked this plugin a lot.

Seems like an AJAX problem to me.

By "stop working" I mean that users (or admins) cannot edit status messages.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
