Just as an FYI, the reason this wouldn't work is that when I switched TS3 hosts, there was a new/different query port. So I ahd to have my web host allow connections on the right ports for my TS3...

I had this same problem, the problem was that the webhost had the TS3 query port blocked by default. Once I got that port unblocked, it connected ok.
