Log in errors

upgrade to 4.x when it came out and had severe issues as my forum was old and handled in old db. the db was not compatible with VB4.x so basically I started over .

but now I have a log in...

I am trying to update my version from v2.5.9+ to the latest release.

I have uploaded the files (overwritten) and updated the .xml file, yet the version number still shows the old number (v2.5.9+)...

Have a dynamic table on the index.html front page which has fields for the data. Like the stats table does, but also have a search box, for querying said MySQL database.
