hide usernames as guests?

is there anyway to hide usernames from guests ( well more importantly spiders )

would be great if guests looking at posts could see only the first 4 letters of the username etc.

just asking for...

Where is the Header hook in the plugins?

I need to add a pull code in my header beside the logo.. in the forum header tempate, but im not sure where in the plugin manager the corresponding hook is?

i get a weird error.. everything seems to install...

i get a weird error.. everything seems to install fine, the file uploader says upload success and gives me a link, but when i click on that link nother is there... when i look onto the server nothing...
