We are currently using a package called Deep Metrix, it was aquired by Microsoft, but it still works. What it doesn't give us is board oriented statistics, most viewed threads etc.

Statistics packages that don't increase load

I would be interested in hearing what other big boards are using for statistics packages. Most of them seem to calculate on demand and cause a huge load spike.

I think the logic is pretty clear. At $125.00 a copy they need to sell volume in order to make money. There are not enough big boards to even come close to paying the bills, but new features help...

You may need another switch to tie the servers together to go out to the internet for management depending on how many ports your host gives you. The load balancer may also be able to do this...

That would work but I'm not sure I would do it that way. The DB server would have to have 2 ip addresses that would make configuring things a lot tougher.
What I would do is put in a gigabit switch...
