We don't allow users to edit the content of threads after 24 hours.

We allow indefinite editing of thread titles.

The "edit thread" button disappears after 24 hours.

Vague, meaningless thread titles are the bane of most forums.

It's a bit complicated to edit thread titles. Is there any more obvious way - such as an "Edit thread title" button?

We want to allow some other users to edit their posts indefinitely. These would be key posts which need to be updated regularly.
