Just wondering how difficult it would be to mod...

Just wondering how difficult it would be to mod this to work exactly the same on search.php, particularly with new posts, ie: sort by forum name upon clicking "New Posts"

Forgive me if this was asked/covered already, but I have a user suggesting the same type of sorting feature under "New Posts" (search.php?do=getnew)

Is this doable?
