I just did, and the picture popped up, but it is still repeating twice. Is there something in the templates that refers to the "Page Background" class in two different spots or something?

You know, after some modifications, i came to realize that its simply a problem of the picture showing up twice, on every page, although some pages just have the second iteration covered up...
