Not by choice, of course. That reminds me, users get mentions when a mention has been quoted. It creates issues when deleting posts where mentions have been spammed 100's of times (the lag issue).

Mine has over 20 million... querying it takes seconds... it does affect performance. My guess is it only matters if the user hasn't logged in/been active for a while or if you need to recalculate it....

I've noticed an issue when someone quotes a post that has had someone mentioned in, it counts as another mention. Is there any way to disable that? I find it extremely irritating.

Indeed, its a windows server so I used a path "C://uploads", and gave the server permissions to write to it, however it just kept giving me errors.
