The cronjob runs once a day at 1 a.m. but also the Mails were send 10 times to poeple and the my server crachs...

That sounds nice, i think another section in the usercp is a great idea, it will be called "forum display" i.e. Then the users get listed the names of all 100 forums, with a checkbox where they can...
