Slow edit post redirect

Hello. On my forum when I click "edit post" it takes like 5-15 seconds to load and go to editpost.php. Is there any fix / reason for this?

Yes, but only to specific usergroups. I am not really leaning towards being in an admin group, but more of a userid type of thing to be allowed to perform such an action...
