Because in the past, I also encounter similar error messages and sometimes there will be about thousands of such messages, which makes me believe that is a DOS attack.

Increase max_connections will increase the resource consumption. Since I know this problem is caused from spam attacks, can I solve the problem without increasing max_connections? Thanks

I am using vBulletin 4, and want to set so that a new user can add links in his post ONLY AFTER he has posted 10+ posts on the forum. How to do that?

Yes, I do find that post. But I do not want to modify php.ini, so there is another workaround is just disable the display error. But it does not tell me how to do so. That is the reaosn why I ask...
