Sorry to disagree but this happened to my forum upgrading from 4.2.3 to 4.2.4. We are not running the 4.2.5 beta. I am simply passing on member complaint.

All it was was somehow I'd set the mod's HVM option to Captcha which I don't find as effective as Q&A which I use in my signups ets so once I set it back to Q&A the member complaint emails stopped.

Have not edited the XML. This just came about after upgrading to the latest release from the DB site. I believe it's tied in with one of the new features in the new release.
