Adding additional YUI modules

I was wondering what the best practice is for this sort of thing. I know I can simply edit the headinclude template, or use the headinclude hook in one of the plugins. Am I missing anything?

I've figured out that to get $foruminfo, you just need to send a parameter "t" with the value of the current forumid. User info can be accessed from $vbulletin.
