However, in past one month, my forum keeps getting posts from spammers!

I didn't do any configuration change...

Why is it not really working...

No, I don't need to use Facebook to pass timezone information. I just want to use the timezone I set in admincp even though the user is registered through Facebook Connect.

I set a different time zone (e.g. GMT+8) in admincp -> options -> default time zone offset

And the remark for this setting says

"This is the default time zone for guests and new members...
