How to hide things from a usergroup?

I have a subscription user group and I want to hide ads from them, how would I do that in the code? Place the ad code between certain tags so this group doesn't see them?

I am using 4images together with vBulletin 3.5.0 RC 3 in the same database and logging in works without problems. But the new hashing system prevents users from properly logging out through 4images...

Is there a version compatible with 4images 1.7.1 and vB 3.0.6 available? The current mod works with vB 3.0.6 as it seems, but it's not compatible with 4images 1.7.1 because they changed sessions.php...
