vB built in a navigation manager found in ACP.

ACP->Setting->Navigation Manager.

From there click on forum so it expands.

Then select add link from the drop...

I was also getting the emails sent in text format...

To get them to send correctly I just used the PHP mail() function instead of the built in one.
