I get the same error. I think it is because functions_navigation.php does not exist in VB 4.2.0. I cannot find it anywhere, even in a new install file!

My problem with the replacement variable is that my current smilies are in [:D] format.
However they dont work and only pick up the ": D" so look like this [:D]...
